    Mission

Advancing women’s lives through the power of philanthropy.

Alpha Phi is a membership organization dedicated to promoting sisterhood, cultivating leadership, encouraging intellectual curiosity, and advocating service. The objectives of our fraternity are the promotion of growth in character, unity of feeling, sisterly affection, and social communion among our members. We have banded ourselves together to improve our minds and hearts. We believe ourselves to be sincere searchers for truth. We seek the highest ideal of womanhood, and we try to gain this ideal by cultivating not only the power and passion for seeking intellectual development but also the spirit of love and charity. We are united and under a solemn pledge to lend a helping hand to one another.

We are women that strive to be the best in all aspects of our lives, socially and academically.

    Philanthropy

Alpha Phi Beta Upsilon hosts two main philanthropy events every year. The Red Dress Gala is Alpha Phi’s most important philanthropic event of the year.

Festivities include a reception, dinner, and silent auction at an elegant venue. The Gala occurs over Fall Family Weekend, allowing us to spend that amazing time with our family and sisters. This past year we raised $18,267 at Red Dress Gala. The money raised supports women's heart health research and education. All the proceeds made go to the Alpha Phi Foundation. Which is in charge of the Heart to Heart Grant.

Our Second, Alpha Phifa, is our largest student involved fundraiser. Where we hold a soccer competition between fraternities, athletes and sororities on campus. Any student is allowed to form a team and enter into our soccer tournament, all proceeds go to the Alpha Phi Foundation. We raised over $2,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation this past spring term.
