    We, the men of Delta Tau Delta, aim to inspire a community of men that help each other improve upon themselves while improving upon the fraternity. Giving opportunities to make positive changes on campus and in one's own life. We cultivate an inclusive culture of equal men who can make the Greek experience what they want, allowing all members to influence the dynamic of the chapter and its legacy.

    Organization Information

    Founded in 1858 at Bethany College, in Bethany, W.Va., Delta Tau Delta has138 chapters and colonies in 39 states and the District of Columbia with a membership of more than 9,000 undergraduates and 120,000 living alumni. The Fraternity posts a GPA of 3.1, making it one of the highest achieving men’s fraternities academically.

    Delta Tau Delta’s mission, “Committed to Lives of Excellence,” is what the Fraternity seeks to represent at its host institutions. Delta Tau Delta strives to develop its members’ leadership skills, seeks superior academic achievement, promotes community service efforts and helps its members launch successful careers.

    Chapter Facts

    Delta Tau Delta-Delta Lambda chapter operated at Oregon State University for 69 consecutive years up until 1999. It returned to Oregon State University in 2016 as the Delta Lambda Crescent Colony. Delta Tau Delta rechartered in 2018, making it the newest chapter on OSU's campus.

    Philanthropy

    JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) has been the national philanthropic partner of Delta Tau Delta since 2012. This partnership engages Delta Tau Delta’s over 130 chapters and colonies on college campuses nationwide to work closely with local JDRF chapters to help raise funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. Since the partnership began, Delta Tau Delta chapters have raised more than $830,000 for T1D research. Additionally, Delta Tau Delta undergraduates and alumni have contributed more than 38,000 hours of service through local JDRF chapter events. The partnership between Delta Tau Delta and JDRF strives to create multiple avenues for philanthropy and creativity, from volunteering at JDRF Galas and forming Walk teams to creating campus fundraising events to benefit T1D research.
