Chapter Information
Our sisterhood consists of a diverse group of women from various walks of life, all with a common love for science. On average, we have 60 active members in a variety of majors and minors, namely science-related fields. Our members take pride in active involvement in other campus clubs and organizations. Sigma Delta Omega values community service and exemplifies that by giving back to Corvallis and the broader community through various volunteer activities. As sisters of Sigma Delta Omega, we travel together in pursuit of our personal and professional goals at Oregon State University and beyond.
We are an unhoused sorority at Oregon State University located in Corvallis, Oregon, dedicated to women in science. There are a variety of different majors that members are part of (such as: Biochemistry/Biophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Bioresource Research, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Optometry, Mathematics, Exercise and Sports Science, Environmental Science, General Science, and Zoology).
Many of our members are involved in on-campus clubs, off-campus organizations, the University Honors College, professional organizations, honors societies, ASOSU, and intramural sports teams.

Sigma Delta Omega is an original chapter, unique to Oregon State University, founded in 2006 for women with an interest in science.
Our philanthropy benefits OSU STEM Academy, a program designed to increase college attendance and participation in STEM fields by engaging K-12 youth.
Every year, we host an annual Trivia Night to fundraise for STEM engagements among youth. We are also currently selling $10 Jamba Juice cards to further raise money for the cause. In addition, we are currently partnering with the American Cancer Society to fundraise for their ResearcHERS program funding female scientists.
